Kristine Zipfel is a photographer based in Wellington, New Zealand, from Norway and Germany. She has experience both as a freelance photographer, shooting for commercial clients and creative studios, and as an in-house photographer at Wētā Workshop. She studied at Massey University, where she graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Design, First Class Honours, majoring in Photography.

Apart from photography, Kristine is also an accomplished freediver. She holds several Norwegian national records, has worked as a safety diver at both AIDA and CMAS world championships, and several editions of Vertical Blue, and has performed as an underwater stunt performer in movies such as Avatar, Alita Battle Angel, Titanic: 25 Years Later, and more.
